I HAVET (“Integrated Holistic Approach to a Validated European Tool”) focuses on one of the most important current issues in Europe – the social inclusion of marginalised communities, especially migrants. The project aims to address disparities in educational inclusion, in particular, the disproportionate rate of early school leaving amongst young people with a migrant background.
Duration: 24 months. 12/2018 – 11/2021
Objectives:
I HAVET aims to reduce the high rate of school dropout amongst young people with a migrant background, by developing a tool that supports students, teachers, trainers and youth workers.
Results:
- students with migrant background will be more involved in the education process
- busy parents will have a more proactive attitude
- provider teachers and trainers / youth workers will have a more mixed training approach to students with migrant background
