Want to go on an internship abroad? - No worries, Eurocircle has everything under control!

The Eurocircle internship centre has launched the IMAJINA + project for the second time. This time, there were 12 young people who decided to discover Germany by doing a two-months internship, across 4 cities in Germany.  In this case the cities were: Leipzig, Stuttgart, Dresden and Schwerin.

The preparations began on 23rd September, the youths met at the CIED in Eurocircle without knowing what was going to happen in the following weeks. At first the members of the group were excited at the possibility of meeting each other for the first time, for example preparing energizers to ease the tension between everyone. Little by little, the participants made acquaintance of the German culture and language, through not only 32 intensive German courses and intercultural training, but also with a three-day mini-internship in Marseille. In addition, there were also creative games to refresh their English and bring the language closer for those who didn’t have any knowledge yet, so every English level was integrated.

Finally, our participants arrived in their cities in Germany where they will be working in different sectors such as agriculture, graphic design, construction and social pedagogy. Fortunately, the young people are well received by the partners in Germany, when they arrived at the train station they picked them up from there to ensure that our youths arrived safely. Last but not least, our team is already excited to look forward to hearing some news during the following weeks!

This project executed in partnership with the association Une Terre Culturelle and the Mission Locale from Marseille, was enabled by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  the Prefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône and the European Solidarity Corps, with the support of the French-German Youth Office (OFAJ).
